Neal Schon Marries Michaele Holt Salahi In Elaborate, Live, Pay-Per-View Wedding Because Of Course

When it comes to over-the-top publicity stunts, former "Real Housewives of D.C." star Michaele Holt Salahi could write the book.

Salahi, who is perhaps best known for successfully crashing a 2009 White House dinner with then-husband Tareq Salahi, married Journey guitarist Neal Schon on Sunday in what might be the world's first live, pay-per-view wedding.

Reportedly dubbed a "Winter Wonderland Wedding and Music Event," the wedding took place in snowy 50-degree weather at San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts. (Is San Francisco the new spot for completely over-the-top nuptial "events?")

Viewers could pay $14.95 on Sunday night to watch the wedding unfold live, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines.

Guests included aging rockers (Sammy Hagar, Bob Weir and several members of Journey) and reality television stars (Debbie Matenopoulos, Cameron Mathison and even Omarosa), and -- while the total price tag on the event was not publicly available -- the couple paid $246,000 in city fees alone to get the Palace of Fine Arts all to themselves, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
